Pilgrimage Tour/Theerthayatre is an important act of dharma in Hinduism. The importance and the effects of Theerthayatre is upheld in Mahabharatha , Ramayana and Vedas.
On my birthday I visited the Suryanarayana temple to seek blessings of  the Sun God. The temple is located at domlur, Bangalore and dedicated to Lord SuryaNarayana(Sun God). It was built in 1995 by Sri Patel D R Krishna Reddy and is one among the very few Sun God temples in India.
The location of temple(kshetra) is  attached to Surya graham. This temple finds its place in Conventional remedial measures for obtaining beneficial effects of the planet Sun.
Sun is karaka/significator for Health, Father, eyes, bones, Government etc. One can visit this temple if one is facing ill effects with respect to significations of Sun or adverse Dasha bhukti  of Sun in horoscope or for General Good health. The ideal day to visit the sun temple is Sunday as the day is ruled by the  planet Sun. One can take help of temple priest for performing appropriate remedial measures pertaining to the planet Sun.
The other kshetras attached to planet Sun in Bangalore/Karnataka  are  someshwara temple(ulsoor),Gangadhareswara temple(gavipuram), Ramalingeshwara temple(Hulimavu), Sampangirama temple(Bannerghatta), KodandaRama Temple (kolar), Vydyanatheswara temple(Talakadu) Someshwara temple(ShivanaSamudra), Kodandaramaswamy temple(Chickkaballapur), Kedaralingeshwara temple (Hubli), Ramaswamy(Chunchanakatte).
The idea of the post is to bring forth the important temples according to planets and  for obtaining beneficial effects of the planets.
